Our philosophy
A home is the longest design project of your life. Treat it like one.
We are a small studio of three designers, a photographer, and a writer. We work on a limited number of projects each year so that every home we touch gets our full attention — and so we still have time to read, visit makers, and change our minds.

Stone, linen, oak, lime — finishes that age into your home rather than out of style.

Light, then layout, then furniture
In that order, almost every time. The room is already there before the sofa arrives.

Less, but better
Fewer pieces, chosen slowly, paid for honestly. A room of twelve things you love beats sixty you almost like.

Made by people we know
Our makers are named on the receipt. Most have been to the studio; a few have stayed for lunch.
How it works
A measured pace, from first conversation to final styling.
We don't sprint. Most of our projects run between eight and sixteen weeks — long enough to find the right lamp, short enough that you'll still recognise your life by the end.

Conversation
A 90-minute visit, in person where we can, to walk the space and listen to how you actually live.

Concept
Moodboards, a written narrative, and a materials palette — the emotional brief before the technical one.

Plan & Source
Drawings, lighting layouts, and a working shortlist of pieces from our makers and the wider trade.

Build & Install
We coordinate joiners, painters, and lighting; we receive deliveries; we handle the small disasters.

Style & Photograph
The last ten percent — flowers, books, a folded throw — and a quiet morning with our photographer.
