Final Wooden House / Sou Fujimoto
Thinking of the big square sections of wood as something primitive and versatile, young and recently awarded the WAF Sou Fujimoto creates an insert in the carrier environment in Kumamoto, Japan. Shaped like a cube and Yenga, this wooden building is assembled stacking sections of wood from a cedar of 350mm above the other. Without distinction of walls, floors or heaven, is the material dimension and repeat the entire set of spaces. In the interior are the same as the outgoing or incoming sections that become the space to sit, lie down or up. The openings in turn are a consequence of the order and arrangement of these elements as configurantes interior space. According to the same Fujimorism the spatiality of this carrier and reinterpreted according to the place where each person.
